'Why would I need mentoring?'

Mentoring helps you be more objective about your business allowing you to benefit from an unbiased view of your marketing strategy, business planning, financial arrangements etc. Harlow Business Mentors also help businesses navigate their way through the huge amount of information available to businesses, making it real and putting it in the context of Harlow’s business sector.

‘Business mentoring’ sounds expensive. Is it?'

Not at all. Our Bitesize Business Briefings and 1:1 meetings are entirely free.

'What is the catch to these free offers?'

None. We are doing this because we are passionate about improving the M11 Corridor's business potential and believe this is one way that we can help to stimulate and support enterprise in the area. Although our mentors run commercial businesses there is no expectation that you will purchase services from us and there will be no pressure to do so (we value our reputation too much!).

'What if I need additional help'

One of the advantages of our business mentoring is that we have a lot of knowledge about the services and resources available locally and we are able to suggest possible suppliers* who will provide value for money solutions (including our own commercial services if genuinely appropriate). If possible we will suggest more than one supplier to give you a choice.
